Solid Hardwood Flooring

Solid Hardwood flooring is a timeless option with natural beauty and durability. Solid Hardwood adds classic  beauty and richness to your home. It can last generations, giving your home a lifetime of beauty, durability and value. 

Hardwood floors are typically nailed down and feel more solid and secure than floating floors but come with a slightly higher install price due to the increased labor/time.

Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Engineered hardwood is a great alternative to solid/nail down hardwood. Engineered wood flooring is constructed from multiple plies of wood with a hardwood top layer. It can be installed as a floating floor which is much more cost efficient than a nail down installation. however; it too can be nailed down for a solid traditional hardwood feel. Conclusion, (there are floating types and nail down types of engineered flooring that both look like solid wood from the top view.
